Obituary of TALMA KEYES ROGERS |
Talma Keyes Rogers, 79, a longtime Russell Resident,
died Sunday, March 17 2002, at Wilson Nursing Home, Wilson. She was born April 7, 1922, at Leon, the daughter of David D. and Alta Mary Gagan Landis. Talma married Howard S. Keys, Sept. 7, 1940, at Russell. He died September 7, 1984. She married Milton V. Rogers, October 6, 1992, at Russell. He died December 18, 1994. Talma lived nearly all her life in Fairport and Russell area. She worked during her early life at the Ben Franklin Store and the Russell Steam Laundry. She then worked a the Russell Hospital for 33 years in housekeeping and central supply. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Russell. Talma was preceded in death by: her parents, two husbands, four
brothers, Francis, Waldo, Ardine and Russell Landis; and one stepson
Murlin Rogers. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, at
Pohlman's Memorial Chapel, Russell, with Rev. Harlan Kaden officiating. Memorials are suggested to Wilson Nursing Home in care of the mortuary. |
