FREY ----------------------------------------------- Sheriff FREY received the sad news Tuesday night of the sudden death of his mother at her home north of Paxico. It seems that Mrs. FREY was in her usual health and started up stairs to retire for the night and fell on the stairs and suddenly expired. Heart failure is supposed to have caused her death. The husband and family thus bereft, of mother, the truest and best of all earthly friends. Mrs. FREY was born in Bavaria, Germany, Feb. 3rd, 1841, and at the time of her death was 61 years 1 month and 1 day old. She came to this country when about 18 years old, and was married in 1863 to Mr. Fred FREY. Ten children were born to this union, seven of whom are now alive, being Fred, John, Albert and Julius, and three daughters, Mrs. Geo. WANSTRATH, Mrs. Val. MOCK, and Mrs. Michael HUND. Mrs. FREY was a most excellent Christian woman, loved and respected by all who knew her. In the home where she was the mother and helpmate in all that term implies, her loss will be most keenly felt. The heartbroken family have all the sympathy kind friends can offer. The funeral was held Saturday at the Newbury Catholic church, conducted by Rev. Father Wieners. __________________________________________________________
