Obituary of KAY CHURCH |
(no date probably 1940-1945) Kay CHURCH, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs S.E. CHURCH was killed instantly Monday afternoon near Marion, KS in a car accident. Kay, with his family, lived in Wichita. He traveled for the Portland
Cement Co. The Kansas City Times gave the following account of the accident:
Wichita, KS, Apr. 2 - High winds CHURCH was dead when the truck driver halted his machine to give aid.
George LUCAS of Wichita, driver of the truck, said the high wind struck
the sedan as CHURCH was passing his machine. The two cars |
