Franklin S. Sellers,  Died and buried at Old Soldier's Home Fort Dodge, Ks. on May 24,1901.Served Oct 1863 to Oct 1864 as Pvt. in Co. "H", 9th Reg't Kansas Frontier Cavalry Battalion and also in Co. "F", 16th KansasMilitia. b May 26 1826 Franklin Co. Penn.Maried Sydia Bentley Oct 9, 1851 in Delaware Co. Ind. Came to northwest WilsonCo. Ks from Iowa in 1857. He was farmer and blacksmith in Wilson Co. Ks.

Mailen, James  They are both buried at Old Soldier's Home, Ft. Dodge, KS. (spelled Mellon on muster-in record) served Co. I, 9th KS Cav.  Born Aug 31, 1835 in Pickaway Co., Ohio.  Married Mary Kinsley May 10, 1863.  Lived in Chase Co. KS many years.  They are both buried at Old Soldier's Home, Ft. Dodge, KS.

William Barton Buried in Peoria Cemetery in Franklin County. was born March 22, 1838 in St. Joseph County, Indiana, died Sept. 12, 1914 in Franklin County, Kansas. William served in Company L of the 16 Regiment of the Kansas Cavalry Volunteers. Was discharged Dec. 6, 1865 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas at the rank of Corporal.
William Henry Olds Hodge, Buried in Peoria Cemetery in Franklin County, Kansas. mustered into the 5th Kansas Cavalry, Company H on October 15, 1961, in Fort Lincoln.  Mustered out in February, 1865, in Leavenworth, Kansas.  Engaged in battles in Mt. Vernon, Arkansas 5-11-63,Helena, Arkansas on 7-4-63, and at Pine Bluff, Arkansas (date unknown). His tombstone doesn't have a date of death on it and we have no records documenting when he died, but it was well after marrying and having several children, so it wasn't during the war. John Burns and is buried in the Wellsville Cemetary He served in Company C of the 12th Kansas.  He died on 9-12-1918, his wife Harriette Josephine Kennedy Burns is buried in the Wellsville Cemetary with him. They had 3 children:  Laura May, Estella and Maggie. He was my great-great-grandfather, Irene Moss

Morgan Wickam was a KS Veteran. He is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Pomona, Franklin Co.
He enlisted 27 Jan 1865 and was discharged Dec. 1865. He served in Co G, 16th Cavalry Regiment. He was married to Ellen Parkinison  11 Feb 1871 in Centropolis, Franklin, KS. He was born 3 Aug 1844 and died 21 June 1896 in Pomona. Ellen died 21 Apr 1935 in Pomona and is buried in the Woodlawn Cemtery, also. Thank you, Nancy Wickam
