Augustus Arterburn, of Mingona township, died on Saturday, July 4, 1902. The cause of death was cancer. Mr. Arterburn was 70 years of age and lived in Barber county many years. He was an excellent old gentleman and was highly esteemed by all his neighbors and acquaintances.Funeral services were conducted Sunday by Rev. J. H. Shamberger and the remains laid to rest in the Doles graveyard by the side of his wife who died a few years ago. The deceased is survived by several grown children.
