Florence Margaret Cox, 94, died September 24, 2007 at Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. She was born April 5, 1913 at Sharon, Kansas, the daughter of Robert W. and Wava A. (Davis) Schnelle. A resident of Medicine Lodge for over 30 years, she previously lived in Wichita where she taught Primary School for 23 years. She was a member of First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge. On August 27, 1974, she married Keith Cox, in Medicine Lodge. He died January 30, 2004.Survivors include a nephew Fred Phye and his wife Anita, Salina; a niece Linda Kastle and her husband Mike, Leroy, Kansas; a step daughter Carolyn Nelson, Canton, Oklahoma; 1 grand nephew; 3 grand nieces; numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Suzy Schnelle, Alvin, Texas. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Dale, Phillip, Floyd and Fred Schnelle and a sister Dorene Phye.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 27 at First Christian Church, Medicine Lodge with Pastor Tom Walters presiding. Burial was in Sharon Community Cemetery, Sharon.
