Margaret Frances Westphal, 96, died Thursday, August 2, 2007 at Pratt Rehab & Residence Center, Pratt.She was born March 31, 1911 at Sharon, the daughter of the late David and Mary Frances (Aker) Iford. She was a school bus driver and a homemaker.
On July 21, 1928 she married Hugo Westphal in Medicine Lodge. He died October 25, 1990. She belonged to the First Assembly of God in Pratt and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by 4 sons: Hugo Jr. of Syracuse, NE, Ronald (Ron) of Vashon Island, WA, Dr. Dan of Boca Raton, FL, and Dr. Carl of Seabeck, WA; daughter: Nancy K. Schukman of Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son: Kenneth Eugene; 4 brothers: Will, John, Carl, and Weldon Iford; and 2 sisters: Edna Tibbetts and Gladys Hamblin and a grandson Christopher.
Funeral service was Saturday at First Assembly of God with Pastor Dallas Hull officiating. Burial was in Isabel Cemetery.
