Born to Mr. and Mrs. Frank COOK, Sunday, June 19, a girl. Frank Donnell says
Cook acted up awful about it. He ran out of the house and after turning a few
hand springs ran to Donnell's stock well and poking his face over the side, and
his hands to the sides of his mouth, yelled, "dad," then looked up scared like
as if he had probably done wrong.
Grandfather Cook is getting along
nicely, with his big crop; grandma has a fine garden. Things will happen and it
so happens according to report, that Frank Cook is just trying its self, taking
the fence down and causing cattle, to mix from Perry's ranch, to old Vesta. -

A brand splinter new girl came to brighten the home of Mr. and Mrs. Will K. SNYDER, of near Bucklin, last Sunday evening. Uncle Dan says, "Will is happy now, he has two pair." - Clark County Clipper, September 2, 1898
A little girl baby made her appearance at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George JOHNSON in this city last Saturday morning, and we understand she is endeavoring to teach George to sing. The neighbors say the trouble seems to be that George will persist in singing medleys. He starts out on "Didn't Dewey Do It" and usually ends up on "Jesus lover, he's never done anything since, Miss Johnson turn me loose." - Clark County Clipper, September 2, 1898
A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. A. W. LINDSEY, Tuesday the 30th. The young lady agrees on her part to entertain her pa with music for about 16 years and then keep him busy as a coon in a bee tree for several years, keeping objectionable fuzzy lipped fellows a way. - Clark County Clipper, September 2, 1898
A boy baby was born to Mr. and Mrs. J. W. MAYSE last Thursday the
12th inst. and Joe now puts in most of his time calling himself "Papa," to see
how it sounds. - Clark County Clipper, June 19, 1902
