Came across an article in "Old
Fort Log" which mentioned an 1867 caravan consisting of 30 covered

Does anyone have any info of this wagon train or others that came through this
area during the late 1860s? Does anyone know where the Shawnee Trading
Post was located? Patrick SULLIVAN cam to Indian Territory around this
time, later purchased 160 acres of Osage ceded land in Neosho County,
