Elmer Bittel, 82, Quinter, died Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter. He was born July 11, 1924, in Gove County, son of Antone and Katherine (Dreiling) Bittel. He was a 1942 graduate of Quinter High School. He married Agnes (Phlieger) Bittel on April 8, 1947, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Collyer. She preceded him in death on Jan. 2, 1994. He was a farmer.
Survivors include a son, James M. Bittel, a brother, Charles Bittel, two sisters, Cora Flora and Ruth Vonlintel, a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Collyer.
