Robert "Bob" Conness, 83, WaKeeney, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Francis, Wichita. He was born July 22, 1924, in rural Graham County to Clarence and Lora (Bean) Conness. He married Anna Ruth (Gorsky) Conness on Sept. 30, 1945, in WaKeeney. She preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 2003. He was a farmer.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Conness, Jr., and David Conness, a brother, Walter Conness, of and four grandchildren. Infant twin grandchildren preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.
