Vincent J. Copp, 71, Upland, Neb., formerly of WaKeeney, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Neb.
He was born Oct. 11, 1935, in WaKeeney to Vincent and Delphine Copp.
He married Irene Kelso on June 27, 1964.
He worked for Minden Co-op prior to retirement in 1991. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Scott Chappell; three brothers, Michael, Dwayne and Lawrence; four sisters, Betty Buchholz, Patty Roe, Rosemary Mai and Mary Jane Wahlmeier; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
