Sam L. Cunningham, 70, WaKeeney, died Monday, March 1, 2010, at Hays Medical Center. He was born March 10, 1939, in McPherson to Ray and Myrtle Mae (Bacons) Cunningham.
He married Mary Jane (Aschenbrenner) Cunningham on Jan. 18, 1958. He was a mechanic for 35 years at Harries Motor Co.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son, Allen Cunningham; two daughters, Lori Mahagan, and Julie Cunningham; a brother, Bill Cunningham; and a sister, Verla Robinson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney; burial in Christ the King Cemetery, WaKeeney.
