4/26/1924 — 3/10/2008Keith E. Garrett, 83 of WaKeeney, died Monday, March 10, 2008, at the Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney. He was born April 26, 1924, in Trego County to Elisha Joseph and Rose Vesta (Parks) Garrett. He attended Pleasant Valley country school and graduated from Trego Community High School, WaKeeney. He married Maxine Eleanor (Nicholson) Garrett on May 26, 1943. She preceded him in death June 16, 2002. He was a farmer.

Survivors include three sons, Kent Garrett and Jon Garrett, Phil Garrett, two daughters, Gay Garrett, and Kay Keller, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandsons.
A private inurnment will be at a later date.
