10-4-1927 — 4-1-2007Mary Icle Hafenstine, 79, La Crosse, died Sunday, April 1, 2007, at her home. She was born Oct. 4, 1927, near Ogallah, daughter of Frank and Iva (McElroy) Armbruster. She was a graduate of Trego Community High School and attended Midland College, Fremont, Neb. She married Walter N. Hafenstine on Oct. 12, 1948, in WaKeeney. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include two sons, Rex W, Hefenstine, and Douglas C. Hafenstine, two daughters, Icle Faye Weilert, and I. Carol Hobbs, a brother, Lyman F. Armbruster, a sister, Reah Beth Dietz, 18 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Burial in La Crosse City Cemetery.
