David William Hillman, was born June 9, 1950, to Henry and Gladys (Pearce) Hillman, in El Dorado, Ks.

He passed away Monday, March 21, 2011, in the Hays Medical Center at the age of 60. He worked as a gas supervisor for the Dillon�s Store in Hays, Ks.
David had been a resident of Ogallah since he moved to this area with his parents when he was six years old. He graduated from Trego Community High school with the class of 1969 & received a associate degree in auto mechanics from the Northwest Kansas Area Vocational Technical School in Goodland, Ks.
On August 14, 1971, David was united in marriage to Sharon (Luea) in St. Mary�s Catholic Church at Ellis, Kansas.
David was known as Mr. fix-it. He tried his hand at fixing almost anything. He made cabinets for his house & loved to do woodworking. His family was his greatest enjoyment & he was a super joke teller, & prankster. Other hobbies included fishing & gardening.
Those left to morn his passing are his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Jenny Hillman and Becky Hillman; three grandchildren, Bethany, Aaron & Jacob Schneider; a brother, James Hillman & wife, Rosa, & nieces & Nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Services for David were held Friday, March 25, 2011, in the Ogallah Cemetery, Trego County.
