Miles George Hubalek
--Western Kansas World, WaKeeney, Trego County, Kansas, April 23, 1981Miles G. Hubalek was born on June 8. 1902 at Wilson, Kansas. He was the son of Vincent and Tena Hubalek. He passed away on Friday, April 17, 1981 at the Lemke Memorial Hospital in WaKeeney, Kansas at the age of 77 years, 10 months and 9 days.
He was united in marriage to Bertha Martin on October 17, 1950. Miles was a farmer all of his life. He was a member of the United Methodist Church; The Independent order of Odd Fellows and the W.F.L.A. Radhost Lodge No. 235.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by one sister, Sylvia Satran.
The survivors include three stepchildren; Ross Ehrichs of Boxque Farms, New Mexico; Henrietta Moden of WaKeeney and Marvin Martin of Dorrance, Kansas; Two sisters Mildred Carpenter of Kalispell, Montana and Irma Hixson of Salina, Kansas; one brother, Art of WaKeeney; 9 grand-children; one great-grandson; by nieces and nephews and by friends.
Out of town relatives who attended the funeral services for Miles Hubalek on Monday were: Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Martin, Dorrance, Ks.; Mr. Ross Ehrichs, Bostex Farms, New Mexico; Miss Joleen Moden, Fort Worth, Texas; Mr. and Mrs. Verne Hubalek, Hastings, Nebr.; Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Hixson, Salina, Ks.; Mrs. Tillie Doleck and Mrs. Venge Mehl, Ellsworth, Ks.
