Helen Lessor, 94, WaKeeney, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2007, at Lutheran Home, WaKeeney. She was born March 30, 1913, in rural Graham County to Stephen Nemechek and Philamena Reitmayer. She attended rural Graham County schools. She married Emerson Lessor on Oct. 15, 1933 in WaKeeney. He preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1987. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Laverne Lessor, and Robert Lessor, Charles Lessor, and Delbert Lessor, two sisters, Barbara Parke, and Agatha Denning, 10 grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren, a great great-grandchild; and two step-great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-grandchild.
Burial was in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery, WaKeeney, Kansas, Trego County. Submitted by Gayle M. Garrett
