Eric C. Lynd, 59, of Lenexa, KS, died, Sunday, September 7, 2008. Memorial Services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, September 11, at Christ Church, Anglican, 5500 W 91st St. Overland Park, KS.
Friends may call 3-4 p.m. at the Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart Association.
Eric was born and raised in WaKeeny, KS, to Harold and Harriett Lynd on March 29, 1949. He was a loving father, stepfather, avid golfer, and enjoyed cheering for his favorite sports teams. Eric was a member of the Christ Church, Anglican. He served as a greeter and will be remembered by all as a warm and friendly man who loved the Lord.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Harriett Lynd. Survivors include his wife; two children, Adam Lynd and Ashley Lynd; four step-children; Sister Becky Sabel and her husband Rick; Brother Bryce and his wife Barb; father Harold Lynd and his wife Lynn.
