Martha H. Mai, 101, Wallace County died Friday, March 28, 2008, at Greeley County Hospital, Tribune. She was born April 19, 1906, in Trego County to Jacob George and Katherine Elizabeth (Mai) Deines. She attended Milberger schools, southwest of Russell. She married William Mai on April 27, 1924, in WaKeeney. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1989.
Survivors include five sons, Arthur Mai, William V. Mai, David Mai, Raymond Mai, Vernon Mai, a daughter, Marilyn Pickett, a half-sister, Elfrieda Deines Graham, 16 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Katherine Elizabeth, and a son, Carl Everett.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mountain time Friday at Sharon Lutheran Church, Sharon Springs; burial in the Sharon Springs Cemetery.
