Epha (Benson) Matson, 94, San Diego, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Sharp Memorial Hospital, San Diego. She was born March 13, 1914, in Trego County to Linus E. and Olive (Beason) Benson. She married Joe Louis Matson on Nov. 16, 1935, in WaKeeney. He preceded her in death Feb. 16, 1980. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, the Rev. Gary L. Matson; a daughter, Mona M. Olson; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Matson Langston; and a granddaughter.
Burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery
