She married Jacob Mehler on June 21, 1936, in Colby, Kansas. He died Aug. 18, 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Patty Wrentling, three brothers, Clem Reitmeyer, Carl Reitmeyer, &William Reitmeyer, three sisters, Mary Ashenbrenner, Anna Rohn, & Minnie Kersiek, one grandchild, & one great-grandchild.Burial in the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery
