Robert PARKE
Robert Parke, 85, WaKeeney, died Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, WaKeeney. He was born Sept. 12, 1921, in Trego County, son of Peter and Rose (Kvasnicka) Parke. He attended schools in rural Trego County. He married Barbara Nemechek on Nov. 13, 1952, in WaKeeney. He served in the U.S. Army and was a farmer and stockman.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; four sons, Steve Parke, William Bill Parke, Patrick Pat Parke, and Brian Parke, a daughter, Margaret Schmitt, two brothers, Thomas Parke, and Curtis Parke, a sister, Helen Molinaro, 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Jean Marie Parke and Gemma Comstock.
Burial in church cemetery.
