Ernest F. Sauer, 92, Norton, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at Norton County Hospital, Norton. He was born Oct. 12, 1915, in Trego County to Adam and Leontina (Wagg) Sauer. He attended Glencoe Rural Grade School. He married Abbie M. Kingham on Aug. 23, 1948, in WaKeeney. She preceded him in death June 12, 1982.
Survivors include five daughters, Barbara Smith, Elaine Skrdlant, Beverly Sidman, Kathie Skrdlant and Dorothy Sauer, all of Norton; two half-brothers, Alfred Sauer, Moundridge, and Gus Sauer, Hays; a half-sister, Anna Kingham, Norton; a sister, Marie Armbrister, Ellis; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Enfield Funeral Home, Norton.
Burial was in Norton Cemetery.
