Bob Spena, 67, WaKeeney, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2007, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, WaKeeney.
He was born Feb. 3, 1940, in WaKeeney to Alfred and Lena (Rhodes) Spena. He was a 1958 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney.
He married Beverly (Berry) Spena on Dec. 16, 2000, in WaKeeney. He was a self-employed painter prior to retirement in 2005.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Scott Spena, and Rob Spena, a step-son, Tim Spivy, two daughters, Brenda Newcomer, and Raina Spena, two step-daughters, Lori Solze, and Vicki Johnson, a brother, Michael Wiles, a sister, Ruth Keal, 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the WaKeeney City Cemetery.
