Polly Sultzer, 78, of WaKeeney, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2008, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital, in WaKeeney. She was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Miami, Okla., to Frank and Blanche (Lindsey) DeJarnette. She married Eugene "Jim" Sultzer Jr. on Sept. 7, 1955, in Norton. He preceded her in death April 12, 1993. She was a switchboard operator for United Telephone Co.

Survivors include a son, De Sulzer, Hays; two sisters, Patty Mai, and Dolly DeJarnette, and three grandsons.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in WaKeeney City Cemetery
