6-23-1922 — 5-22-2006Ada Belle Tomanek, 83, WaKeeney, died Tuesday, May 22, 2006, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, WaKeeney.
She was born June 23, 1922, daughter of, William and Ethel (Gordon) Jones. She attended rural schools and graduated from Trego Community High School in 1939. She married Bill Tomanek on Sept. 1, 1940, at First United Methodist Church, WaKeeney. He preceded her in death, June 13, 1998. She worked as a dietary aide at the hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Tomanek, Lynn Tomanek, and Mark Tomanek, three brothers, Darrell Jones, Francis Jones, and Leonard Jones, eight grandchildren, and 16
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Tomanek.Burial in the Union Cemetery, Collyer
