Irene O. Turner, 78, Quinter, died Monday, June 25, 2007, at Gove County Medical Center, Quinter. She was born July 12, 1928, in rural Trego County to J.G. and Eva Margaret (Meier) Deines. She was a 1947 graduate of Trego County High School.
She married Roland Turner on Nov. 9, 1963, in WaKeeney. She was an administrative assistant for Trego County Welfare Services before retirement in 1967.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; and three sisters, Marie Mai, Alvena Dietz, and Fred Hoffman, a son, Randall Troy Turner, preceded her in death in 1995.Burial in Baker Township Cemetery, Quinter, Kansas, Gove County.
