Kathryn Elaine Weigel, 56, died Sunday, Oct. 6, 2002, at Trego County-Lemke Memorial Hospital. She was born March 1, 1946, in Hays, daughter of Raleigh & Hazel (Hunt) Low. She married Robert Weigel on Aug. 20, 1966, in WaKeeney. She was a librarian and director of the WaKeeney City Library. She was a member of the Chapter CT of PEO, Presbyterian Church of WaKeeney, church organist and choir director, Trego Arts Council, Bridge and Birthday Club, Phi Delta Kappa Professional Sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and the Northwest Council on Aging. She was a past member of the EHU and Harmony Club, Kansas Library Association and Music.
Survivors include her husband, a son, Aaron, two daughters, Kelle Weigel, and Dena Bell, her mother, a sister, Marlene Leick, and two grandchildren. Her father preceded her in death.
Burial in the Christ the King Catholic Cemetery
