Neff E. Wilds, 86, WaKeeney, died Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at his home. He was born Sept. 27, 1921, in Trego County to Roy Elwin and Nina J. (Neff) Wilds. He was a graduate of Trego Community High School and Fort Hays State University. He married Wanda Lee Vine on March 29, 1951, at Episcopal Church, Hays. He served in the U.S. Army and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons, Allen Wilds and Eric Wilds, a sister, Wilma Michel, three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.
