Census Records

Census records are sought after by all genealogists as they hold an enormous amount of information about your ancestors. OFGS holds census reports on microfilm and in books for U.S. (every 10 years on the zero years), Kansas (every 10 years on the 5 years), Bourbon County (various years) and finally Fort Scott (every year for several years). We also have copies and actual documents of Applications for Citizenship and Naturalization papers. If you have hit the brick wall on locating your ancestors in Bourbon County, contact us and see if we can find something for you.
