The President of OFGS, Don Banwart, has amassed an enormous collection of pictures of Fort Scott and Bourbon County. He loves the trains that had run through Fort Scott so there are engines running and trains that are wrecked.
Many of the Fort Scott events are recorded, homes and business locations and several years of weather conditions such as flooding and snow.
Each photograph has been worked to enhance it, printed and are on sale at OFGS. We have thousands printed photographs with thousands more to come. Each black and white photograph is sold for $2.00 each and a colored photograph is $5.00. Come sit and relive the times in Fort Scott and Bourbon County, but I must warn you, it will take a long time. We are working on a directory but it is still incomplete.
