OFGS has collected a few books and articles about well-known women in Bourbon County. We have a Union Spy who spent the war as a man, a woman doctor that was important to our county, a story about a Holocaust Child Rescuer researched and produced by the Uniontown High School and other articles. Women helped to make Fort Scott a place to live and raise a family. We can't forget them.
