One of the pioneer residents of Barber county, George W. Lott, passed away at his home in Sun City on Sunday, July 17, 1932, after an illness of two years. Mr. Lott had made his home in Sun City for many years and was at one time associated with the Sun State Bank.Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Ella B. Lott, four children, Mrs. Bert Kennedy of Liberal, Kansas, Piry of Perryton, Texas, Van of Wilmore, Kansas, and Mrs. Clifford Hoagland of Lake City.
Funeral services were conducted from the Baptist church at Sun City on Monday afternoon and were in charge of Rev. K. B. Ford, pastor and Rev. Woods of Wilmore.
