John Conklin, aged about 60 years, died in this city on Wednesday night of this week, following an attack of pneumonia. He had made his home in this county and in Lookout neighborhood for five or six years, working for different parties. He was an industrious and dependable employee and was regarded as a good citizen. As far as we have learned, he had no relatives in this county. Relatives in eastern Oklahoma were notified of this death.
