The memorial service for Guy Warren Crowe was conducted Monday afternoon from the Assembly of God church of Greensburg with Rev. Allen Musbach officiating. Fleener Mortuary was in charge. Interment was in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater, Kans.

Music was furnished by Mrs. Gerald Davis, Mrs. Vernon Davis, and Mrs. Vernon Whitmore. Their accompanist was Mrs. Doris Little.

Casket bearers were Terry Crowe, Earl Crowe, Carl Burkhall, and Leighton Fairbairn. Honorary bearers were Ernest Davis, Paul Murray, Clinton Herd, Vertis Swarner, Raymond Lohrding, A. J. Six, Walter Thompson, and Norval Taylor.

Obituary.

Guy Warren Crowe, son of Joshua and Alice Crowe, was born in Parker, Linn county, Kans., September 1, 1882, and departed this life, April 15, 1967, at the Kiowa County Hospital, Greensburg, Kans., at the age of 84 years, 7 months, 14 days. He was united in marriage with Mary Fairbairn at Great Bend, Kans., September 14, 1904. To this union seven children were born: Three daughters, Mrs. Alice Lester, Wichita, Mrs. Helen Smith of Orange, Texas, and Mrs. Mary Anna Purcell of Coldwater; four sons, Clyde of Haviland, Richard of Oroville, Calif., George, Los Banos, Calif., and Walter of Coldwater.

In 1911 he moved to Kiowa county where he lived until 1919 moving to Comanche county. During these years he farmed and was also engaged in the carpenter trade. In 1948 they moved to Greensburg where his wife preceded him in death in October 1949. On June 12, 1954 he was united in marriage with Ruby Hansen at Parsons, Kans.

Many years ago he accepted Christ as his Savior, to whom he remained true. He was a loyal worker and supporter of the Assembly of God church of which he was a member and was faithful in attendance. He was a loving, faithful father and husband, good neighbor, and a friend of many.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby, of the home, his seven children, a stepdaughter, Mrs. Cathy Avey, Goleta, Calif.; two brothers, Daniel of Coldwater and Jasper of Wichita; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
