Obituary of Wanda Belle Darnell

Wanda Belle Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hoffman, was born January 4, 1924, at Coy, Okla., and departed this life June 5, 1951, at the Comanche County Hospital, at the age of 27 years, 5 months and 1 day. All the tireless and tender efforts of the physician and nurses were of no avail.

She was converted and united with the Assembly of God when a child and lived a devoted Christian life until her home going. Wanda Belle was gifted with a good voice and used it in singing while they were in active gospel work. She was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby, and one brother, Johnny.

She leaves to mourn, besides her husband, children and parents, three sisters, Mrs. Helen Ring, of Bloom, Kans.; Mrs. Nellie Ellis, of Wichita, Kans.; and Marie Hoffman of Coldwater; two brothers, Howard, of North Platt, Nebr., and Gene of the home; also one niece, Mrs. Melvin Smith, of Omaha, Nebr., other relatives and a host of friends.

She was a devoted wife and mother and will be greatly missed by all. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the entire community.
