Services Held for Mrs. George Huck

Funeral services for Mrs. (George) Huck, who passed away after a lengthy illness at Sterling Community Hospital on Friday, March 9th, were held March 12th at Chase Christian church.

Marvin Plank sang "Beyond the Sunset" and "God's Tomorrow." Rev. D. D. Hall, pastor of the Christian church, Chase, was in charge of the service.

Pallbearers were Alvin Kindsvater, Leon Howard, Vernon, Delmar, Kenneth and Gene Huck, nephews of the deceased. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Obituary.

Sarah Rachel Kindsvater was born to Eva and Jacob Kindsvater in Houston, Kans., on September 20, 1905, and died in the Sterling Community Hospital on March 9, 1962, at the age of 56 years, five months and 17 days.

On January 25, 1930, she united in marriage with George Huck. They settled on a farm at Boise City, Okla. Later they moved to a farm north of Coldwater. After several years they moved to the Wilmore Community. In 1952 they moved to Chase, Kans. To this union were born four children, three daughters and one son.

In 1954 she and two of her daughters, Bonnie and Sharon were baptized into the membership of the Chase Christian church.

She is survive by her husband and son, Gary Lynn, of the home, Helen Hansen, Sedgwick; Bonnie Fleming, Wheeling W. Va.; Sharon Salisbury, Salina, Kans.; six grandchildren: Pattie Jo, John Michael and Ronald Lee Hansen, Rhonda Kay and Debra Jean Fleming and Nancy Sue Salisbury; four sisters: Lydia Huck, Ashland, Martha Howland, Corpus Christie, Texas; Mattie and Edith Huck, Coldwater; and a brother, Eddie Kindsvater, of Eveletir, Minn.; also many other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jake Kindsvater.

Although her illness was long and painful, her cheerful attitude and Christian spirit were an inspiration to all who knew her. Her witness was that she was ready and anxious to go Home to Jesus.
