Nescatunga Enterprise, February 19, 1887

Died

Monday night the 14th, the little year old son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Huff, of Shimer township was attacked with croup, all was done that could be done to relieve the little sufferer, but to no avail. The little fellow gradually grew worse, and ere the dawning of the day, Tuesday morning the pride and joy of the home was still in death. The spirit had left the tenement of clay and winged its way to the everlasting hills. Wednesday the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery west of town. The grief stricken parents have the sympathy of the entire vicinity.
