Mrs. Walter Johnston Loses Father

Mrs. Walter Johnston of this city was called to Eureka, Kans., to attend the funeral on August 30 of her father, B. H. Jones, who died on August 27, at his home in Chandler, Okla. Mr. Jones was raised near Eureka, in Greenwood county, Kans., and spent many of his mature years there and the body was taken there for burial.

He is survived by his widow and six children - Mrs. Laura Damon of Gutherie, Okla., Mrs. Marie Johnson of Coldwater, Henry Jones of Santa Barbara, Calif., Henrietta Persyn of Kansas City, Kans., Mrs. Peninnah Stull of Hutchinson, Kans., and Floyd of the home; also by seven grandchildren, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon, August 30, at the Wiggins-Kribble Funeral Home in Eureka, and interment was in the Greenwood cemetery. Rev. M. E. Wilcockson, pastor of the Christian church was in charge.

Mrs. Johnston had visited her father a few weeks before his death.
