DEATH OF MRS. McADOO

Mrs. Theodore McAdoo, who before her marriage was Miss Lydia Williams, a daughter of Mrs. J. R. Williams of this city, died on Monday of this week in a hospital in LaJunta, Colo., after an illness of only a few days, resulting from an attack of the flu followed by pneumonia. The body arrived in this city on Wednesday and burial was made at 11 a.m. on Thursday from the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Hitchcock, Rev. N. S. Franklin, pastor of the Christian church in Protection, being in charge. Interment was in Coldwater cemetery.

Deceased was born in this city on May 21, 1898. Her age at the time of her death was 21 years, 8 months and 21 days. On January 15, 1918, in LaJunta, Colo., she was united in marriage with Theodore McAdoo, who with a 16 months old son, Theodore Jr., survive her. Her mother, six sisters and five brothers also survive. Her husband is a brother of R. R. McAdoo, who married her sister, Octavia, and whose home is in or near LaJunta. Deceased had been a member of the Christian church for about 12 years and had lived a consistent christian life. She was much devoted to her home and was a faithful wife and mother. Her untimely death brings sorrow to all who knew her and to the relatives the sympathy of many friends goes out at this time when bereavement so sorely burdens their hearts. The husband was unable to come here for the funeral because of critical illness.
