Funeral Held for Clover Meyers

Clover L. Meyers died on Tuesday, December 27, 1994, at the Comanche County Hospital in Coldwater. She lived to the age of 85 years.

She was born on April 20, 1910, at the community of Paruna, located in Oklahoma just across the state line southwest of Protection.

Her parents were Ernest Grant and Ella Mae Cubbage. She had been a resident of Comanche County since 1927, moving here from Selman, Oklahoma.

Clover was a retired beautician in the Protection and Coldwater areas.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Dorcas Circle, both at Coldwater, and the Harmony Extension unit, Protection.

On Jan. 1, 1927, she married James Arthur Roller at Greensburg. He died April 5, 1977. On October 18, 1987, she married Frank Willis Meyers at Coldwater. He survives.

Other survivors include: two stepson, Roger Meyers, Sublette, and Larry Meyers, Wichita; five step-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral was Friday, Dec. 29, 1994, at the First Christian Church, with Rev. Jack Wingate and Rev. Faye Thurman officiating and Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater.

Memorials may be sent to the church or to Pioneer Lodge Nursing Home, both in care of the funeral home.
