Myrtle Poppleton

The Western Star, 12 July 1890.

Died.

Myrtle Poppleton, aged about ten years, and youngest daughter of Geo. A. and Almeda Poppleton, died in this city last Saturday, and was buried in the city cemetery Sunday morning. The funeral services were held at the M. E. church.

Her death is attributed to an abscess in the upper jaw bone, which caused blood poisoning. Myrtle was brought to Coldwater the first of last week, from her home in the extreme eastern part of the county, for medical treatment but she continued to grow worse until death claimed her.
