O. H. Swindler Dies In a Wichita Hospital

O. H. Swindler, a resident of Pratt county for many years and who had lived in Wichita the past 26 years, died in St. Joseph's Hospital in that city on November 6 at the age of 60 years. He was the father of Mrs. Gloyd Hadley of Coldwater.

Funeral services were held at Downing's Mortuary in Wichita Monday afternoon and the body was brought to Pratt, where funeral services were held in the First Methodist church Tuesday afternoon. Burial was in the Greenlawn cemetery in Pratt.

Those from Comanche county who attended the services at Pratt were Mr. and Mrs. Gloyd Hadley, Nadine, Patricia and Junior, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. White, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hadley, Leonard Hadley and Mrs. Mildred Schrock and Mrs. Ivan Booth, Mrs. Rice Price and Mrs. Homer Ring of Wilmore.

Mr. Swindler is survived by his wife, with whom he celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last year; a son, Alva Swindler, of Pratt, and two daughters, Mrs. Gloyd Hadley of Coldwater and Mrs. Lawrence Davenport of Oklahoma City.
