Rolland H. Trummel

Funeral services for Rolland H. Trummel were at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, 1984, at Hood Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Dan I. Purcell officiating.

Trummel died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 1984 in Denver, Colo., from a heart attack he suffered on Monday. He was 67.

He was born May 13, 1918 in Wilmore and had lived in Durango, Colo., since 1937. He was a heavy equipment mechanic and had worked for LaPlata County, El Paso Natural Gas Co., Archie Bodo and Burnett Construction. He was a World War II veteran and a member of American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors are his wife, Pricilla Trummel, Durango, Colo., whom he married in 1973; stepchildren, Bruce Burnett of Durango and Linda Burnett of Phoenix, Ariz.; brothers, Robert Trummel of Medicine Lodge and Kenneth Trummel of Coldwater; a sister, Evelyn Helm of Dodge City, and a grandson, Andrew Burnett.


Rolland Trummel, who has been in the hospital in Colorado, was able to leave the hospital Sunday. -- The Wilmore News, July 9, 1937.
