Marguerite F. (Ruff) Alexander

MRS. ALEXANDER DIES

Rev. Margaret Alexander, former Methodist pastor in southwest Kansas, died at 4 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, May 29, at a Wichita hospital after several weeks illness. She was the widow of Rev. J. M. Alexander.

She had been serving at Iuka Methodist Church before she was stricken.

Funeral services were held at Iuka Saturday morning at 10 o'clock and at 2 o'clock at the First methodist Church in Hutchinson with burial in Memorial Park cemetery.

She is survived by five sons, Rev. Marion Alexander of Arlington, Clyde of Nebraska, Virgil and Levere of Wichita and Harold of Ellinwood. (Hutchinson Hearld).

Mrs. Alexander was well known in Wilmore and vicinity having spent two years here while Rev. Alexander was pastor of the M. E. Church. He died during his pastorate here and Mrs. Alexander finished the year in his place.
