Dorothy Dean Beeley

COLDWATER - Dorothy Dean Beeley, 78, died Oct. 9, 1999, at Pratt Regional Medical Center.

She was born July 24, 1921, at Coldwater, the daughter of Fred and Mabel (Kurz) Parker. She attended Coldwater Grade School and was a 1939 graduate of Mount Carmel High School, Wichita. A longtime Comanche County resident, she was a retired rancher and homemaker.

She belonged to several local bridge clubs.

On Aug. 3, 1940, she married Woody Beeley at Greensburg. He survives.

Other survivors include: a son, Woody, Protection; and two grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Coldwater, with the Rev. Kent Little presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. today at Hatfield-Prusa Funeral Home, Coldwater. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery, Coldwater.

Memorials may be sent to Coldwater Heritage Park or the American Cancer Society, both in care of the funeral home.
