The Wilmore News, September 14, 1928.

FUNERAL OF RODGER BEHLER MONDAY

Funeral services for Rodger Behler who died at Alva, Oklahoma, Saturday night of acute appendicitis was held at the Baptist church in Wilmore Monday afternoon. Rev. A. Burrill conducted the funeral. A large number of sorrowing friends and relatives were present and the floral offerings were very beautiful.

Rodger, who was just grown into young manhood had just gone home with his father for a visit and it was a shock to his many Wilmore friends when word of his death reached us as he was an unusually large strong boy. Every one knew Rodger and his cheery face will be greatly missed.
