The Western Star, March 16, 1906.

Miss Judah Darroch Married.

Miss Judah Darroch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Darroch of this county, was married on February 26 in Geary, Okla., to Wm. W. Brand. The bride's many friends in this county join in extending congratulations and good wishes.

The Geary Bulletin of March 1 contains the following account of the wedding:

William W. Brand and Miss Julia Darroch were married Monday evening at 8:30 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. S. Harris on North Blain ave., Elder M. R. Shanks, pastor of the Christian church, officiating. Immediately after the newly married couple had received the congratulations of those present, a wedding supper of two courses was served. Many beautiful and useful presents were received.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Darroch of Coldwater, Kans., but has made Geary her home for over a year, living with her sister, Mrs. B. S. Harris. For some time past she had been clerking at Noah's Ark. Mr. Brand is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Brand of this city and is employed by the Rock Island railroad in the freight department. Both young people are held in high esteem by all who know them and their many friends unite in wishing them much happiness and prosperity in their journey through life together.
