Nescatunga Enterprise, December 17, 1887

BREWER-FUNK

Married at the residence of the brides parents, S. S. Funk's one mile and a half south of town, on Thursday evening December 15, Mr. R. S. Brewer to Miss Sarah Funk. Rev. Fay, of Coldwater performing the ceremony in a very graceful manner. After the usual congratulations the guests were invited to partake of a bountiful repast of good things. The bride and groom received quite a number of presents both ornamental and useful. The ENTERPRISE offers the happy couple our usual congratulations. Those present were J. E. Tincher and lady; C. M. Jones and lady; W. C. Berry and lady; James Patrick and Miss Patrick; Will and Miss May Sprague; James and Miss Ella Patterson; C. L. Hand and Miss Tillie Blanchard; Miss Payne, Mr. Wheeler and the ENTERPRISE scribe. Mr. and Mrs. Brewer went to housekeeping immediately here to town, where they await their friends to call on them.
